    Voters report issues at Nashville polling locations

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Davidson County’s administrator of elections said stir sticks have been provided to polling locations after some early voters reported issues.

    Metro Councilmember for District 16, Ginny Welsch, posted to X that it took her four tries to register her vote, noting that when she “pressed Gloria Johnson, Blackburn lit up.”

    “I heard yesterday votes for Harris would jump to Trump, too,” Welsch added. “So double check your choices & make sure they’re correct.”

    Jeff Roberts, the administrator of elections for Davidson County, told News 2 a few voters reported struggling with their voting machines at an Inglewood location. Roberts attributed the issue to voter’s fingers, explaining that sometimes, people’s fingers might touch multiple buttons at once.

    Roberts added that stir sticks have since been provided to all early voting locations and that they would makes sure stir sticks would be available on Election Day. According to data from the Davidson County election commission, over 30,000 people cast their ballots over the course of the first two days of early voting.

    This happens last time. except last time they kept being pushed over to the Democrat side. It sounds like they need to get these machines fixed properly.
