    MNPD: Person drives to Decatur Street after being shot multiple times

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Officers reportedly found an injured male in Nashville’s Napier area Sunday evening following a shooting.

    According to Metro Nashville dispatch, a shooting was reported near the end of Decatur Street at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20.

    Teen shot multiple times while riding in vehicle through West Nashville

    The Metro Nashville Police Department told News 2 the victim drove himself to that address after being shot. Law enforcement found him in his vehicle behind the location with at least three gunshot wounds.

    Officials said the victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. An officer from the Hermitage Precinct is on the way to get an update on his condition.

    According to authorities, neighbors in the area reported hearing gunfire near Fain Street before the victim arrived. Upon further investigation, officers discovered significant amount of blood not far from the 100 block of Fain Street.

    As of this writing, police said they are securing two scenes. No additional details have been released about this incident.
