Why don’t they merge with Tri-C? They overextended themselves. No one can afford to spend more than 4 years in college unless there are stacks of federal grants available to students.(Those days are over.) They should turn into a college that gives you credit for work and skills you already have and just require distance learning and in-class learning for one’s major. All else should be exclusively certificate programs for medical and vocational careers. Then they might have a chance to stay in business. Also, a great ice hockey or basketball team wouldn’t hurt either!

Here’s a tip for CSU… maybe stop changing major requirements midpoint in someone’s collegiate career, thus causing them to have to stay longer than four years - then maybe your enrollment will increase. Why would I attend CSU with a 5-7 year plan to obtain a BA, when there’s plenty of online colleges that cost half of CSU’s tuition, AND they have accelerated options where I could be done in three years? They need to get rid of the powers that be and do over.
