Mackinac Island wants you to name the next fudge in second annual contest

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Mackinac Island is holding a fudge naming competition for its annual Fudge Festival.

People have until Wednesday, July 31 at noon to submit their chosen names at selected Mackinac Island fudge shops. Last year, ‘Crack in the Island Crunch’ won the title.

The fudge shops will create their version of the chosen name and the winning entry will receive corresponding fudge from each participating shop.

The 2024 Fudge Festival starts August 23-25, with fudge-filled activities like demonstrations on how to make fudge, outdoor movies, and family-friendly games.
