‘Angels in America’ fundraiser for Lansing Area AIDS Network

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – The Lansing Area AIDS Network (LAAN ) is partnering with the Riverwalk Theatre on Wednesday night, August 14 for a special fundraising performance of Angels in America. It’s a Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Tony Kushner, that delves deeply into the human experience during the aids crisis of the 1980s.

6 News anchor Jorma Duran spoke with Kristina Schmidgall with LAAN about why the event is important, and how money raised will help hundreds of residents annually.
