    Attorney General Dana Nessel gives fiery speech at DNC

    LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Michigan Attorney Dana Nessel spoke at the Democratic National Convention last night and gave a fiery message, speaking directly to the Republican party.

    “I got a message for the Republicans and the Justices of the United States Supreme Court: you can pry this wedding band from my cold, dead gay hand.”

    Nessel, who is gay, married her partner in 2015. Her speech dared the Republican party to seize the right to share a union with a same-sex partner.
