Poll: VP picks aren’t swaying the presidential election much in Michigan

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A new Epic/MRA poll of active and likely November voters in Michigan shows that neither the Democratic nor Republican picks for Vice President have done much to sway the public’s opinion on either presidential candidate.

However, Michiganders favored Walz more than Vance.

65% of poll respondents say the Republican Vice President pick, JD Vance, won’t influence their choice one way or the other.

55% said the same about Democratic Vice President pick Tim Walz.

14% of respondents said they are more likely to vote for Trump in November because of Vance, and 19% said they are less likely.

However, 28% of respondents said Walz’s addition to the ticket made them more likely to vote for Harris, and 15% said less likely.

The poll was conducted by Epic/MRA and has a margin of error of 4%.
