CHARLOTTE, Mich. (WLNS) — From the macabre to the cuddly, the Festival of Oddities in Charlotte was a popular destination Saturday in Mid-Michigan.

Jenn Carpenter, Festival organizer, tells 6 News more than 15,000 people are expected to visit the grounds of the former Eaton County Courthouse — which now serves as a museum — in downtown Charlotte Saturday and Sunday.

The event draws together true crime podcasters, writers, paranormal enthusiasts, artists, animal rescues and more for two days of conversation, dancing and more.

The event continues Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Charlotte.
