    Hunter accidentally shoots, kills self at Sleepy Hollow State Park

    LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A hunter from the St. Johns area accidentally shot himself in the leg at Sleepy Hollow State Park, says the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office in a news release.

    The incident happened Wednesday around 7 a.m. Deputies found the 42-year-old hunter using GPS. The hunter later died from his injuries.

    The sheriff’s office says the incident remains under investigation.

    You guys and your rude comments. He left behind a beautiful, amazing wife and 3 kid's he was the bread winner for as one child needs full time medical care. He was loved and very respected on our community. If you can't be polite, maybe just keep your mouth shut. His family and friends can see this!!!
