Handsome boy looks for special family

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Meet Wild Watermelon, a senior who spent the first 7 years of his life chained in the backyard.

Wild Watermelon is looking for a special family who will help him feel like he’s loved and a member of the family.

He likes other dogs, the shelter says but doesn’t seem like he had a canine friend in the past or has ever played with any toys. He’s a good boy but no one has taught him anything so he will need someone to help him learn the basics.

He is 7 years old, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. You may also inquire about him by visiting ac.ingham.org or calling 517-676-8370.
