Motorcyclist dead in crash in Eaton County

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A 69-year-old man is dead after a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

The crash happened Monday, the Eaton County Sheriff’s Department reported on its Facebook page . The man was operating the motorcycle, sheriff officials reported. The crash happened on Millett Highway near I-96 westbound.

The man, who was from Charlotte, was transported to Sparrow Hospital by emergency first responders. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Michigan State Police, Eaton County Sheriff’s Department Deputies and first responders from both Delta Township and Windsor Township responded to the crash scene.

Eaton County Sheriff Department officials say the crash remains under investigation.
