JD Vance to come to Detroit Tuesday

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Republican Vice Presidential nominee JD Vance will speak in Detroit on Tuesday.

An announcement from the campaign of Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump and Vance reports Vance will speak at Eastern Market, 2934 Russell St. Detroit MI, 48207, at 2 p.m. October 8.

Doors for the event open at noon. And the campaign offers individuals the opportunity to obtain up to two tickets to hear the candidate speak.

Vance will reportedly discuss auto manufacturing. Vance rose to prominence after winning a U.S. Senate seat from the state of Ohio.

Trump and Vance are squaring off with Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris and Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz. Harris is the current Vice President of the United States, Walz is the governor of Minnesota.

Both campaigns have barnstormed the state with candidates and surrogates for weeks. Polling has Trump and Harris running in a tight race in Michigan.
