LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Ingham County Animal Control Shelter is seeking donations to support its emergency pet food bank and animals in its care.

In a Facebook post the shelter posted it is seeking donations of dog leashes and soft dog treats. They ask for non-retractable leashes. In addition, they are seeking donations of kitty litter and dog and cat food — any brand, any size (although they prefer smaller bags). And they report they will accept open bags as well.

The food and kitty litter will be distributed as part of the shelter’s emergency pet food bank.

Donations can be dropped off at the shelter, 600 Buhl St. in Mason.
