LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris will be making a campaign visit to Lansing on Friday, according to the Harris-Walz campaign.

However, further details such as when the event will take place and where it will be located were not released. The event will not be open to the general public.

This would be Harris’ sixth visit to battleground Michigan this election season and her first visit to the state’s capital city. She will also make additional campaign visits to Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Oakland County.

Her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz spoke at an event in East Lansing last month, and U.S. Sen Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Walz’s wife Gwen have both campaigned in the Lansing area.

Former president Donald J. Trump and U.S. Sen J.D. Vance (R-OH) have both campaigned in Michigan, but not in Lansing—though Trump did campaign in Potterville in August.

I’m glad she’s the opposition - it makes it all the more easier for Trump to win. Democrats just think made a huge mistake having her as their only choice. She can’t even talk and make sense at the same as me time for one. There are those that no matter who’s the choice vote Democrat. I’m sore theure giung tk try anything to win. But Gods ultimately in charge.
