    Williamston soccer wins regional championship

    WILLIAMSTON, Mich. (WLNS) – Last week, the Williamston boys soccer team captured back-to-back district titles. Last season ended in the regional championship game for the Hornets, and they weren’t letting it happen again.

    In Thursday’s regional title game, Williamston took down Ann Arbor Greenhills, 2-1, after penalty kicks were needed to determine a winner.

    It’s the first regional for the Hornets since 2020. Check out the highlights from the win above!
