    Pikesville man hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after fire

    Baltimore County firefighters rescued a man from a burning house on Wednesday night in the 500 block of Shamrock Lane in Pikesville.

    Authorities say he has been taken to a nearby hospital, where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.

    The fire was contained around 10:17 pm, and the cause of it is unknown at this time.
