PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. ( WMBB ) — Each year, high school seniors who attended West Bay Elementary School come back for a special celebration they call “Senior Walk.”

Today, Arnold and Bozeman seniors returned to West Bay for a final send off. The elementary school students lined the hallways holding posters, waving pom-poms, and cheering for the seniors.

Bozeman High School senior Trey Power says he’s excited for what the future holds and appreciates the well wishes. He didn’t leave without giving young students a piece of advice.

“Show up to school, make good grades and don’t do anything stupid. It’s a great feeling to be back. Just reminds us we’re getting old and time flies really fast. It was just fun to be back,” Power said.

West Bay officials say they hope the senior walk inspires younger students to do well in school.
