Weather conditions impact Panhandle schools

LOCAL NEWS ( WMBB ) – The severe weather making its way through the area Monday and expected to impact our area Tuesday, has caused some Panhandle school districts to alter class schedules.

Bay County School District : After-school activities are canceled. BDS Bay Base remains open on a regular schedule. No decision has been made about tomorrow yet.

Gulf District School District : Port St. Joe schools will dismiss at 2 pm EST, and for Wewahitchka schools dismissal is at 1 pm CST on Monday, May 13. All Gulf District Schools will be closed tomorrow Tuesday, May 14.
