South Walton rallies past Arnold to reach Final Four

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WMBB) – After trailing for five complete innings, the South Walton baseball team rallied for a 6-1 victory over Arnold, advancing to the Class 4A State Semifinals.

With the win, the Seahawks earned their first trip to the Final Four as a Class 4A program, their last appearance since 2017 when they were in Class 1A.

South Walton improved to 20-10 and earned the two-seed in the state semifinals, set to face three-seed Merrit Island in Fort Myers on Tuesday, May 21.

The Marlins historic season ends with a program-best 23-6 record.
