BAY COUNTY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – During Memorial Day weekend and other patriotic holidays it’s important to honor veterans and active service members.

Drop boxes have been set up so many people may properly dispose of tattered flags.

For Bay High AFJROTC’s 3rd annual flag drive, six drop boxes have been placed around Bay County. They are located at VFW Posts, The Bay County Shooting Range, by the high school, and at the Legion Post.
