    Early Voting for 2024 Primary Election ending soon for Bay County

    BAY COUNTY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – Early voting in Bay County started one week ago. So far, there are a lot of people casting ballots.

    Supervisor of Elections Nina Ward opened 8 early voting precincts Monday morning at 10:00 am.

    From Monday through Sunday, 5,400 people have voted in person. Voters are also able to vote through mail-in ballots. Of the 10,400 people who have submitted mail-in ballots. Ward said there are still 6,000 voters who have yet to mail in their ballots.

    Early voting begins in Bay County

    “It’s been it’s been going well. We’re open until 6 p.m. Tonight, and then we’ll open every day through Saturday. So I just want to encourage everyone not to wait. We have no lines at any of our sites. So if your mind is made up, go ahead and come down and do early voting,” Supervisor of Elections Nina Ward said.

    There are 8-different early-voting polling sites, Frank Brown Park Community Center, Lyndell Conference Center in Panama City Beach, Lynn Haven Senior Center, the Palo Alto Church of Christ on Highway 231, and the Parker Community Center.

    As well as the Frank Nelson building, the A.D. Harris Learning Village, and the supervisor of the elections office at the Bay County Government Complex.

    Early voting ends on Saturday, August 17th.
