Construction remains on schedule for new Bay County attraction

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. ( WMBB ) – Construction on “Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show”, a unique new entertainment venue in Panama City Beach, is continuing to progress without any issues.

Crews broke ground on the project back in February of this year and everything is still on track to be completed by the spring of 2025.

Earlier on Thursday the site was topped out, meaning the final piece of the structure was put into place.

Up next staff will work to complete the interior of the venue, things like filling a large pool for the performers, the kitchen, and seating are included in the next phase.

Pirates Voyage staff has been very pleased to see no significant roadblocks or delays during construction, this has helped ensure the completion of this new attraction stays on schedule.

“We’re so excited to welcome people here. This has kind of been in the planning for a long time that we’ve been looking at this market,” said Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show PR Manager Ellen Liston. “We always want to come in and deliver what we say we’re going to do and the first step in that is opening on time. So we’re pretty excited about being able to do that next spring.

The new building is over 60,000 square feet and requires over 600 tons of steel and 16,000 gallons of paint.

Over 700 jobs will be created as a result of this new entertainment venue in Panama City Beach.
