A Hand Up and Partners now expands to Gulf and Franklin County

GULF COUNTY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – A Hand Up International is teaming up with The Warren Collective expanding to Gulf and Franklin County, and presenting an expansion launch giveaway event.

They are hosting a mobile food pantry and are giving away free backpacks with school supplies.

“We will also be launching the backpack program in Gulf and Franklin Counties for students in elementary, middle, and high school that need food for the weekend, so we’re very excited about it,” said Jeanette Best, A Hand Up International CEO.

The event is happening on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. or until all items are depleted located at 1930 West Highway 98 in Port St. Joe. It is first come first serve.
