    Lynn Haven Police Chief Ricky Ramie’s plea hearing date officially set

    LYNN HAVEN, FL. ( WMBB ) – Lynn Haven Police Chief Ricky Ramie goes back to court next week. A date for a plea and sentencing hearing has been set.

    Court documents show that next Thursday, August 22 is the day Chief Ramie will go before Judge Wade Mercer. The document shows it will take place via Zoom.

    Ramie is accused of leaving the scene after hitting another vehicle in the parking lot of a Thomas Drive night spot. The incident happened late last December.

    Ramie had to turn in his city-issued gun and badge and was placed on administrative duties.
