One dead after dump truck hits powerline in Washington County

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a tragic accident on Old Bonifay Road.

According to a news release, a dump truck made contact with a powerline on Friday.

The patient was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, WCSO officials confirmed. No one else was reportedly hurt during this accident.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is currently on the scene.
