After Lopez was detained, the victim said she saw him trying to steal her Polaris, she then saw Lopez stop pushing the vehicle and start walking towards her. Officers confirmed this by watching a video of the suspect in the act.

The victim asked Lopez to leave and he did for a short time, however, he later came back with a stolen wheelbarrow and tried to enter the home through a window, according to a news release.

Lopez was arrested and is being charged with Burglary of an Unoccupied Dwelling (Unarmed), Petit Theft, and Trespass on Property other than Structure or Conveyance.
