PANAMA CITY, Fla. ( WMBB ) — If you’re looking for something to do during this gloomy weather, the Panama City Center for the Arts has a rainy day escape for you.

Three new exhibits are on display.

The main gallery features Panama City native Morgan Summers’ debut solo art exhibition, “Homegrown: The Journey So Far.” It showcases Summers’ concept of home and community through different symbols, themes, and creative expression.

“An Eclectic Collection” by Heidi Johnson features a display of colorful sea creatures and wetlands wildlife, and “The Journey of Craniosynostosis” by Cathy Baker-Ramsay is a collection of works in honor of craniosynostosis month. The exhibit helps raise awareness about the disease that causes the premature fusion of sutures in a baby’s skull.

These exhibits will be on display at the Panama City Center for the Arts from now until September 8.
