Port St. Joe High School is planning an open luncheon for the Shark Football teammates of Chance Gainer. Initial plans were to include Liberty County and Blountstown football teams to come for a time of support. After tremendous love and support, Gulf District School said they have expanded this special event to welcome other area varsity football teams and coaches.

This multi-team camaraderie and luncheon will take place on Tuesday at the Port St. Joe High School Commons Area and Gymnasium from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The school will resume regular scheduling Wednesday-Thursday.

Grief counselors and staff will be available for any student or staff member needing support throughout the week.

The home football game between Port St. Joe and Blountstown scheduled for Friday night has been postponed to a later date.

Final plans for Chance Celebration of Life have not yet been confirmed for Saturday. News 13 will provide updates if the event is confirmed.
