PANAMA CITY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – Roughly 50 different colleges and universities will set up shop and speak with prospective students at the Bay County College Fair at Gulf Coast State College on Thursday, September 12th.
Representatives from the schools will be available from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Student Union East Building.
For all high school students, college students, and anyone interested in learning more about higher education, this event is open to you.
The fair is brought back each year to provide residents with an opportunity to hear from schools they may have never heard of before and could end up possibly attending in the future.
Bay Chamber recognizing Industry Appreciation Month “My favorite thing about an event like this is most of us have schools that are already on our radar, right?” said Gulf Coast State College Executive Director of Recruitment Jason Hedden. “Then you come to an event like this and you may find a school that might be the perfect fit for you that you didn’t even know existed and I think that’s a great opportunity.”
There is no cost to attend Thursday’s fair and you do not need to RSVP or bring anything along with you.
If you have a child who is unable to attend the fair you are welcome to go in their place.
