PORT ST. JOE, Fla. ( WMBB ) – Port St. Joe’s annual “PortOberfest” celebration is coming back to town for another year on Saturday, September 21st.

The party will run from noon to 4 p.m. Eastern at the intersection of Highway 71 and Reid Ave.

There will be live music performed by a German band from south central Florida, corvettes on display courtesy of the Circle City Corvette Club from Dothan, and the shops along Reid Avenue will all be open.

It wouldn’t be a proper Oktoberfest celebration without German beer and cuisine, both will be sold throughout the day on Saturday.

“PortOberfest” serves as the town’s fall festival and it keeps coming back due to its popularity amongst visitors and locals.

“This event itself, not only does it bring people into town, but it gives us a reason to celebrate the fall season,” Gulf County Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Joe Whitmer said. “It’s a free event and it’s downtown so it checks off a lot of boxes for people in Gulf County really.”

No tickets or registration is required to come out and enjoy this free event.
