DeFuniak Springs man charged with indecent exposure and burglary

WALTON COUNTY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – A DeFuniak Springs man has been arrested and charged with indecent exposure and burglary after entering a woman’s home without clothes on in Santa Rosa Beach.

Around 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Walton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from a woman who said a man she recognized entered her home on Dilligaf Street naked, according to officials.

After the incident, the man ran from the house towards Juniper Street.

Eric Manley, 48, of DeFuniak Springs was located on Juniper Street in a vacant house.

According to WCSO, when deputies attempted to take Manley into custody, he refused and began reaching into the cushions of the couch where he was sitting. Deputies then tased Manley and arrested him.

Manley is being charged with burglary, criminal mischief, indecent exposure, and resisting without violence. He received a $25,000 bond.
