    WATCH: Walton County burglary suspects caught on camera

    WALTON COUNTY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – During Hurricane Helene on September 26th, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary in the Owls Head subdivision in Freeport.

    According to officials, the victim’s surveillance cameras recorded the two suspects as they sifted through drawers around 8:30 p.m. Moments later, the victim arrived home with a young child.

    The burglars escaped with a safe, a large amount of cash, and two Smith and Weston 380 pistols, as well as other personal belongings, officials said.

    Walton County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the person in the video below. Officials said the voice heard is possibly from him or the other suspect that is not entirely in the video.
