LYNN HAVEN, Fla. ( WMBB ) — A local car dealership is getting ahead of the Hurricane Milton relief efforts.

Bay Cars teamed up with Comeback Coolers to provide necessities to storm victims. Comeback Coolers is a non-profit organization that delivers drinks, non-perishable food, cleaning supplies, and more to victims of natural disasters.

Bay Cars is collecting donations at its Mitsubishi location on West 15th Street. They’ll host a ‘packing party’ at the end of the drive, stuffing the items in the coolers.

Bay Cars employees are excited about helping others in their time of need.

“We’ve been through Hurricane Michael, so everybody feels the pain. Everybody’s got a lot of prayers going out for that community. We just want to get a jump on it this time,” Bay Cars Sales Associate Todd Mixon said.

The delivery location of the coolers will be determined following the storm.
