Bay wins district title, clinches playoff berth

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – The Bay High football team defeated West Florida 35-13 on Thursday night, clinching the Class 3A District 1 Championship and a playoff berth.

Bay junior quarterback, Zay Morgan put the Tornadoes up 7-0 before going down in the second quarter with an injury. Sophomore quarterback, Jon Devos came in and led the team to victory.

The Tornadoes improved to 3-4 and are the first team in the area to clinch a playoff berth. They will visit Walton on Friday, October 18.
