COTTONDALE, Fla. ( WMBB ) – Prepare to have the yell scared out of you, Mosier’s Farm is bringing back their “Field of Screams” haunted corn maze for another year beginning on Friday, October, 18th.

The maze will be open to the public on October 18th, 19th, 25th, and 26th as well as November 1st and 2nd.

Each night, the gates open at 7 p.m., and attendees can enter the maze until 10 p.m.

This Friday kicks off the 15th year that the “Field of Screams” has been held at Mosier’s Farm, and an often overlooked aspect of the haunted attraction is the planning and preparation that goes into getting it ready for the public.

“We plant the corn in the heat of the summer, basically the dog days,” said “Field of Screams” organizer Walter Mosier. “We run sprinklers and irrigation out there until we get the corn to grow. It grew good this year, we’ve had a really good year. The trails are really nice and we got a lot of help from family to come out. We’re just really looking forward to another big year.”

General admission tickets cost $15, or you can skip the line for $30.

No matter which type of ticket you get you must pay with cash.

“Field of Screams” staff are asking all patrons to wear proper footwear and avoid wearing sandals and flip-flops.
