Lighthouse Church hosts annual trunk-or-treat event

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – Halloween is just around the corner, but some families are trick-or-treating early this year with a new-age tradition. Hundreds showed out to the annual Lighthouse Church trunk-or-treat event Sunday night.

The community wide celebration offers a safer, more accessible option to trick or treating. With dozens of decorated vehicles, there was no shortage of candy. But for many, the event also provided a sense of community

“Just the community and being out people doing something fun and good and just loving on people. Clean fun is what were after and safety, so we love to just be a blessing to our community,” Lighthouse Church Connections Pastor Stephanie Robinson said.
