    Prep sports recap for Sept. 5, 2024

    PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD/WYZZ) — The Mid-Illini got the better end of things in two volleyball match-ups with Big 12 in Peoria on Thursday.

    Morton won at Richwoods, 25-27 and 25-15. Limestone won at Notre Dame, 25-14, 18-25, 25-13.

    Other volleyball winners on Thursday included U-High, Tremont and Deer Creek-Mackinaw. And in soccer, U-High won at Normal Community, 4-2.
