HUDSON, Ill.– The McLean County Coroner identified a Northern Illinois woman who died in a car crash that occurred Sunday on Interstate 39.

Mayah G. Butzman, 20, of Maple Park, was pronounced dead on Oct. 14, one day after receiving “multiple blunt force injuries” that had been sustained from her vehicle leaving the interstate, said Coroner Kathleen Yoder.

Maple Park is a small village that straddles the DeKalb and Kane county lines.

Butzman, the sole occupant of her vehicle, had been headed on I-39 and was near the Hudson exit when the crash occurred.
