SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WMBD) — The Illinois State Police is working to combat vehicle-related crimes throughout the state.

In a news release state police stated they were awarded a $10 million grant for the first fiscal year of fighting car-related crimes and a $677,000 grant for the next year also.
