Crews working to repair Peoria water main break

PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — Crews with Illinois American Water are working to repair a water main break near University Street and Northcrest Avenue, just north of War Memorial Drive, on Wednesday.

According to Illinois American Water Spokeswoman Anna Kubas, crews are currently working to isolate the water main break so they can safely complete repairs.

Kubas said the break affected about 14 customers.

It is currently unknown when repairs will be completed.
