    Bloomington police investigate shots being fired Wednesday

    BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) — No one was injured during an incident Wednesday night in Bloomington where gunshots were heard.

    According to Bloomington police, officers were sent to the 1800 block of West Illinois Street at 9:15 p.m. after several people called about hearing gunshots in the area.

    When they arrived, they found that shots had been fired and found evidence which was not disclosed in a news release. An attempt to reach the department’s spokesman to get more information was not immediately successful.

    They did find property damage but it wasn’t clear what was struck or how many times.

    No arrests have been made and the circumstances behind this incident are still pending investigation by the Bloomington Police Department.
