    Two men arrested after shooting outside a residence in Peoria

    PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — Shots were fired outside a Peoria home as a result of an argument between two men on Thursday.

    Officers responded to the scene at 7:57 p.m. at the 600 block of Northeast Prosperity Street.

    Elon Coleman, 43, and Donquarius Brisbon, 29, were located when police arrived at the scene of the shots.

    When officers searched the house, they found a gun and ammunition inside.

    Coleman was arrested on counts of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, aggravated discharge and aggravated assault with a firearm. Coleman also had three active warrants.

    Brisbon had a gun on him when searched by police and was arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

    There were no injuries as a result of the shootings.

    Both men were taken to the Peoria County Jail.
