Corolla Wild Horse Fund names first filly born in the new year

COROLLA, N.C. (WAVY) – The Corolla Wild Horse Fund has officially announced the birth of yet another foal, Eowyn.

The filly, first spotted several weeks ago, is the second of three foals born this year. Eros, who was born in February , was the first foal born this year. Ezra, born in April , was the third foal born.

Eowyn, which means ‘joy from horses’ in Old English, was born to Arwen.

With the announcement of Eowyn, the Corolla Wild Horse Fund wants to remind people to give the horses, especially the foals, plenty of space at all times.
