    Wood Ducks’ series opener with Mudcats canceled, doubleheader on Thursday

    KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) — Tuesday’s game between the Down East Wood Ducks and the Carolina Mudcats was canceled due to rainy weather, officials announced.

    The two teams will play a doubleheader on Thursday starting at 5 p.m. It will be two seven-inning games. One ticket will get you into both games.

    PROMOTIONS

    Wednesday is Education Day. That game will be played at 11 a.m.

    Thursday night will still be Thirsty Thursday with $2 Natural Lights, Busch Lights, and Peanuts, but you will also be able to bring your dog to the ballpark.

    TICKETS

    If you have tickets for the game that was rained out on May 14, you can exchange your
    tickets for any remaining 2024 game (excluding July 3rd).

    You can exchange your tickets two ways: Over the phone by calling (252) 686-5164 or in person at the Wood Ducks ticket office. If you choose to attend a future game, you must exchange your May 14th game ticket. Tickets for May 14 are no longer valid for entry.

    Fans can purchase tickets on wooodducskbaseball.com , by calling the Wood Ducks Team Offices at (252) 686-5164 or in the Wood Ducks Team Offices located at Historic Grainger Stadium (Mon-Fri 10 am-4 pm).
