UPDATE (WNCT) — The Federal Aviation Administration told WNCT Sunday night that a Cessna Citation business jet veered off the runway after landing at Washington-Warren Field Airport Sunday evening.

Two people were on board, according to the FAA. No information was provided on the one person taken to a local hospital, but a Washington city official confirmed one injury occurred.

The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have launched an investigation. The NTSB will take the lead in that investigation.
