WINTERVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — In Winterville one girl is helping change lives with each stroke of a paint brush.

Eleven year old Bellamie Moore said that painting is one way of expressing herself and now, she wants to share her work with others. She said that multiple moments in her life sparked her interest in painting. She started when COVID-19 broke, and continued through her grandmothers passing from kidney disease.

Bellamie also has a brother who is autistic and has a focus on raising autism awareness. She said that all donations and money raised from her paintings will go to the National Kidney Foundation, the Autism Society, as well as art supplies and art camps.

Bellamie added that her paintings are unique and is asking for support to help fulfill her dream.

“I like drawing since I was like about 4 years old,” said Bellamie. “It shows a lot of personalities like of happiness and different kind of emotions and stuff.”

If you’d like to check out her painting, she’s selling them right in her front yard on Barrell Drive. She will be there for the rest of Saturday evening into Sunday.
