GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Jarvis Memorial United Methodist Church and St. James United Methodist Church partnered for a Back-to-School Bash Sunday to help children and the community prepare for school this week.

There was face painting, a bounce house, games, and food available.

“We have community partnerships that are out volunteering today to get information to kids about mental health awareness,” Kristen Letchworth of St. James UMC said. “We’ve got booths set up for our church and activities going on with our church, getting the bounce house ready, food, hamburgers, hot dogs. We want our kids to be fed and have their bellies full and ready for back-to-school tomorrow.”
