    Duplin County roads to close for construction

    DUPLIN COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) — NCDOT announced Monday morning that they are closing N.C. 111 in Duplin County for the next couple of weeks.

    N.C. 111 near Donald K. Outlaw Road will close on August 28, and will reopen two days later on the 30. N.C. 111 near Zion Church Road will close on September 4, and reopen the next day. Crews are set to install three new pipes during the closures.

    Drivers will be detoured to Zion Church Road and Mark Herring Road in Wayne County and Liddel Road. N.C. 903 will also be used for access. Local traffic is still allowed.
