ECU football continues prepping for Norfolk State Spartans to kick off season

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — ECU Football Head Coach Mike Houston and the players are continuing game week preparation for Norfolk State Saturday.

The game will be at 6 p.m. in Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are heavy work days for the team ahead of kick off.

The first team offense went through walk-through drills to get it started. Defensive Coordinator Blake Harrell’s squad also worked on lining up early.

“Man, I’m excited, man. I’m ready. I couldn’t even sleep last night, man,” Coach Houston said. “Ready for Tuesday practice, man. So I know my emotions are up there. You can just feel it. You can feel it at practice. You feel the energy. Everybody is ready to go?”
