GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Several organizations are coming together to help make Greenville feel more like home for students living off campus.

ECU, the Tar River University Neighborhood Association, known as TRUNA is collaborating with the City of Greenville to promote the “Good Neighbor” to start the new school off right.

“Today, city leaders are talking with students about how to have responsible social activity, proper trash removal, parking and other topics.

“We’re constantly evolving because we’re working with our community. We’re working with local banks, with other health agencies,” Erik Kneubuehl with ECU Student Affairs said. “We’re constantly making those connections. So one, referrals have to come or we need to connect the dots between students on campus and Greenville residents that we’re able to connect those dots intentionally.”
